I completely understand the logic here and it doesn't read as submission at all. You've conveyed exactly as you thought you had. I figured you'd been caught up in the awesomeness of the fic and had remembered only the "sub!Tom" from the list. I was very honest when I said that Sev's point of view and his near flail made it much less of an issue- that was really intended as a compliment. It was such a small point, even in the narration, in an overwhelmingly incredible gift.
