-In particular the Minerva-as-a-cat elements: it was really nice to know that you felt they added something to her character as a whole here, rather than just being fluffy (ahem) distraction. Personally, I think the psychological impliations of being an Animagus are fascinating: JKR has said (somewhat conflictingly) that Animagi keep their human minds when in animal form... and also that being an Animagus helped Sirius cope with the Dementors in Azkaban because the dog's mind was less susceptible to damage than a human's. I therefore wanted to explore the grey-area between those two statements, and explore how the experience might actually feel.
It's also great to know that you enjoyed Severus and Minerva's verbal interactions, and felt that their personalities were well-matched, here :-)
