Oh, wow. I'm so sorry for being late to comment - had a hugely busy weekend, family visiting, and simply didn't spot this till today. But it was so worth the wait!
I loved the shifting POVs and the whole style of this. The language is fantastic. Some of my favorite bits:
drunkenly snatching at sweets in every flavour of childish nostalgia they could have ever imagined or remembered - that just captures it perfectly
sex is just one more thing for her to perfect, every performance better than the last - this is SO Hermione!
He’s the one on the bottom, the plinth, as it were, and it’s his job to just hold everything steady. - oh yeah, that is Ron all over [and I loved the bit later where we find out Ron has a correspondence degree *g*]
I could go on and on but I might start quoting the whole thing. Hee. Wonderfully hot sex here too; their friendship and love is so clear and they're so experimental. The chocolate frogs, omg, wow. So much fun.
