That was gorgeous! I love the whole concept of something in nature, a rare occurrence, giving the ghosts a chance to be alive. The fleetingness of it, the desperation you captured in Nick and Helena, heightened everything. Myrtle's first experiences and Helena's memory of her mother blended beautifully. I loved Helena's sudden realisation that time was running out, the way she demanded Nick take care of her.
On top of all the ghostly goings-on, Ariana's thoughts as a girl becoming full a woman were just perfect - the instinct to still play at the start, and the chase by the mermen...
