I think -- I'm not sure but I certainly do think -- that my absolute favorite part is Voldie's almost Biblical ego -- the "many rooms in the mansion of his power" being the clearest example and a stunningly appropriate one, and his over-the-top grandeur makes what could read as "creepy stalker dude" into this leisurely, kingly sense of his own power that's just ... awe-inspiring.
I love how you handled the depilation, the animalistic idea -- and the gorgeously ambiguous hints of poor damaged Minerva left me with this lovely uneasy wondering about just how right he was about her.
