Adding to my already rambling comment because I had to run earlier and apparently I have more to ramble on about.
The end has really stuck with me. I am torn because I am not sure if Sirius is being self-sacrificing or selfish.

It was better to keep to his friend and give up the rest. This and a lot more makes me think self-sacrificing. I think it's a majority of this with a healthy pinch of the other.
I want a continuation where Remus gets stubborn Sirius to see how stupid he is and his noble denial only hurts everyone. Then they fall back into bed together and have more scorching sex. That want of more isn't to say this fic isn't wonderful and stands alone all on it's own. It's only my selfish need for my OTP to be together.
