I love how you portray Severus here. He's still very much the man we know; he dislikes losing control, he is attempting to gather knowledge of Karkaroff's intentions when Voldemort returns even then, and even when he's in the heat of sex he's fact gathering (that SO cracked me up.) I can see where the idea of some outside force causing him to lose control would be something that would really bother Snape. I also loved the nod to Severus/Lucius though I do wonder why Lucius is now out of his league? Because Voldemort is gone? Or because of Narcissa and Draco? I always figured he kept up a friendship of sorts with Lucius regardless since Rowling seems to indicate they are friends. (I always viewed it as slightly *closer* than Rowling might have intended but...)
