There are just SO many fantastic things in here. The way Sirius just CANNOT resist baiting Snape. Sirius putting on as much of a show as he can, because he wants Snape to want it. Snape being as silent as he can so that he doesn't given anything away (I TOTALLY see him being like that). Sirius being fully aware of Snape's control issues and indulging him when it's important. Both of them comparing being together to flying. Sirius being rather obvious about his feelings, really, but Snape not seeing it because he's... Snape.

A little of Severus's fire died.
That. Right there. Just so true. Severus always knew what Sirius was like, but it never stopped him from wanting Sirius -- maybe even made him want him that much more -- and he's got no one to blame for it but himself. And more of it here:
