Oh wow, I love this! Love how tender and understanding Neville is (Pansy did choose the perfect person for this), and how the last scene makes me think that maybe there is a future for them... Also LOVE the bit about the Slytherin smugglers and Slughorn helping them! I always thought it so stupid and unlikely that there was not one Slytherin that wanted to fight against the Carrow regime (which is what the books imply when the trio sees the Room of Requirement right before the final battle; Gryffs, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs were all there, ready to fight, while the Slytherins... were not there. *shakes head*)
