Back onto topic: I'm so happy you posted this. I know you mentioned it was AU and Sirius was skeevy, but it worked with the tone you wrote this in. And who knows? Maybe he DOES think a bit like that, but is just better at keeping it silent? He may have very excellent self-restraint! ... XD Okay, but still, the best part about writing in first-person is you get a chance to play with character voices. And I really sort of absolutely adore this Sirius, even with his skeeve. I love his reaction to the '70s, I love his reaction towards the woman in the bar, and I love how he ended up getting kicked out of the house... because I can totally see the strong, head-strong Gryffindor in the make-up.
