<3 I hear you. My introduction to BDSM came through fic as well (lol, X-Files, I FEEL OLD, well, fandom-old anyway :x) although then I ended up involved in a lot of it IRL and really there's some stuff you just can't know unless you're there or you're talking to someone who's been there, so, yes, it totally comes through<3 & hey, there's never been anything that feels like a cop-out in your fic :) with this, it's just a true thing, a thing some people would do - not necessarily always a healthy thing, but I never did read a totally well-adjusted Blaise anywhere on the internet, so :x
