I think I'd dabbled in reading a few BDSM in fic and other things before HP, but in HP, that interest has blossomed into a full-blown love. And the game this came from introduced me to three people who more than dabble. One who helped me with this fic, and the other two actually played Lucius and Severus. I learned so much from all three...so many little things you don't understand about BDSM and how it works unless you're in it in real life... But I do think it definitely shows in my fic. Especially the heavy ones like this one. I'm glad that that came through, and doesn't feel like a cop-out in the story. <3
