OotP period Snape/Sirius is awesome. They're both so desperately in need of distraction and companionship during that time. You've done a great job of capturing that, as well as the intensity that underlies any interaction between the two of them.
Sirius is so very Sirius in this. Cocky and bored, and a bored Sirius is a dangerous thing. ;) I adore the power play. Sirius starts it, but Snape is damn well going to turn the tables on him and finish it, by god! But then, isn't that exactly what Sirius wants? He's certainly not trying to stop it, after all... And surely Snape must be aware of this, but he needs (or at least thoroughly enjoys) the illusion of control. Aahhhh, always so many things going on with these two!
Which, Sirius thought, was a bloody long-winded, very Snape-ish way of saying Prove it, and one of Sirius's favourite dares.

This whole thing is just... abjnhipahrla! There are so many layers of things going on, and they just know each other so damn well. Snape knows exactly what Sirius needs, and he's willing to provide it, because he needs this just as much, and and and...
