You depict Harry's fascination with Lucius's hair delightfully, and the care Lucius uses with him, while giving what they both want. This is D/s with true consideration and trust; and you show how they learned that trust.
I love the way you've contructed the story, moving between past and present, and that you've made the relationship between them one with the promise of solidity. (It's not just a promise, given what Lucius says about not having untied his hair – a lovely touch, that; the last gentle stroke to Harry's fetish – and ours.)
You have a light hand with all the issues that arise in the story (like whether Harry actually wants to be an Auror still, no matter how effective he is); there's just enough to embed the story in their daily lives, so that it's not just a fulfilment of their sexual fantasies. (Your Robards is impressive, one of the best I've seen: not a high flyer, but a man doing his job, and doing it well: your average dedicated cop, never sure whether or not to be thankful for a Roman candle like Harry.)
Thank you so much for this real keeper!
(I'm still in arrears, but I thought I deserved a little break.)
