Wow, so dirtyhotwrong, Mystery Author! I like how Percy's voice stays haughty and particular even in some of the more heated moments, and how Ginny's motives were great guessing-material.
I know a few people have mentioned possessed!Ginny, and that had occurred to me as well. So it was interesting to reveal this was more taking-after-the-twins!Ginny, the one that always felt like a surprise to have shown up in canon in Book 5. To me it worked to see the seeds (and more!) of that here, to show how Ginny must have had these influences, yes Fred and George and their pranking and determination, but also of a kind of sexual power the books hint at, even at this earlier age.
The hints at Ginny's experience left me wondering. The Fred&George connection is one answering element, but I couldn't help consider there might be even more. It's made me so curious to think about the back-story of your Ginny, how and when and with whom she began (and continued) to experiment.
