This fic is far more tender, and it surprised me, since I hardly thought about these characters in the books. It's an engaging story, and I felt so sad when I read the end. I love how you wrote it, how there is M Malkin's confusion on her feelings for her best friend, or even the fabric, or simply the dress, but there is also sadness at the end that balances it out. OH, I love this. Thank you for sharing!
