OMG, this is MADE OF AWESOME! It moves along with such smooth precision just like Snape, the reader has no more time than Hermione to stop and think through what is happening. It just sweeps one away on this strange seductive blend of half-crack, half-coercion that's so totally Snape and there is nothing to do but lean back and enjoy.
Then the punch line, with Minerva's call! OMG OMG OMG. I'm grinning with glee at how well worded that scene is, and just what one might expect! We gasp and smile to see Snape take advantage of Hermione, then in last sentence we realize that the readers have been equally in the dark. That double-twist feel remindem me so much of a Saki story. Your writing skill has me as;dlkfja;a a;sdlfdfljk with awe!
And oooh I would love to see the sequel, with Harry, or even better when Harry and Hermione get even with a certain Deputy Headmaster just like Snape would.
