I broke the internet and several computers in the past few days so I'll take responsibility for it. I saw the update for [info]hp_april_fools and am seriously considering signing up this year. Phear my bad artistic skills! I wish I could claim I can draw so I can use another media which I'm actually good in...

I can't tell you how happy I am to read your comments. I had never written James/Lily before but I saw this prompt and just fell in love with it. So thank you for asking for it!

I am a firm believer that James ought to have had more involvement in Harry's life/protection other than being the producer-of-sperm. It's a shame JKR doesn't understand about magic and dualities so...yes. Fatherly protection and motherly protection, thank you! Of course, I'm sure James was very happy that it gave him an excuse to shag his wife rotten. ;)

Initially it was going to be much more of James worshipping Lily, but she insisted on taking things into her own hands (as it were) as I was writing it. I'm so glad it worked for you too. :)
