I've got a soft spot for marking and claiming fics, so this really pushed my buttons. I liked, too, how starkly you drew this Snape--made me think you could draw him sitting inside this room, and you'd have the sum of his life, except for Harry. And Harry's life outside the room is brighter and more varied, but in a way, more pathetic and confining than Snape's is. I love the way you write, just in general. 'The flame jumped and was twinned, sending twice the shadows flickering around the room. Just lovely, lyv.
