Wow, really interesting!! I don't read much overtly religious fic (er, except Bible slash--but this is somehow more overt than that!) and this was terrific. I was wondering throughout if there would be a sign of recognition somewhere--but you stuck to your story and I agree with your choice! Though I admit the part of me that likes some comfort at the end wouldn't have minded it. :) I especially love the way you described Snape's body as Harry was looking at it or undressing it--really vivid.
