Oh, Cedar, I could just twirl you around in dancey circles right now. I went through this thing with a fine-toothed comb about seven different times over the past month, shifting verbs and adjectives and sentence structures, and I know it's just a dumb PWP and not any literary masterpiece, but I still wanted it to have the right feel, and without plot or characterisation or even much dialogue to go on, I really needed every word to matter, and so - a;slgj.
