Gods, where to start...
Fifteen million gold stars to you for rescuing Lavender Brown. I don't mean in the story, but as a character. You've taken someone who was a simpering one-dimensional nitwit in canon and built on that trauma to work her up into a real person. And for avoiding the riot!grrrl cliches that make me want to stab my eyes out with rusty pins. Total props to you.
And as always, your Fleur. Gah! So much love. She really rules; the ultimate iron fist in the velvet glove. And yet still totally recognisable as the girl in canon. Just the adult version who's been knocked around a bit by life, but is still going strong.
The whole premise of this story is just... OMG so much love. And yes, with The Blue Door I'm seeing a Sex Club Trend here (god, please tell me this is a continuing trend :D). And as always, you do a fab job negotiating the emotional and psychological subtleties of D/s, while providing lots of yummy smut. It's like the fic equivalent of getting your veggies and chocolate cake. Or maybe it's the fic equivalent of chocolate cake-flavoured veggies.
I could go on and on but I've just re-read this and realised that last sentence may be the strangest feedback I've ever left for a fic. I better quit while I'm ahead. :P
