*lights incense and scatters flower petals at the altar of Lee*
WOAHOMGSIRIUSLYLOVEITALLAGAZILLIONTIMES.....
I really wish I had a coherent review for this - I truly, truly do. I was so completely immersed in the 'verse and werewolf culture that I willingly believed every second of it.
Lav-lav was spectacularly fierce and gritty and powerful and just what Bill needed *pets him*
I had a major flashback moment with "You know who to take it out on when it gets bad like this, and it's not your fucking wife," I was quite disappointed/sad that Remus had died in this, and I particularly liked Bill's self-denial about his feelings for Remus. It's realistic and macho and about a thousand other things and the way he eventually found some sort of relief (both physical and emotional) through Lavender, and through Fleur (two impressively strong women) is really just icing on this delicious, multi-layered, multi-flavoured cake.
Oh, and those wolf menfolk at the Ink Spot. I would pay MONEY to see some of that! Whoooot!
