Thank you! It's pretty painful overall, but yes, James is the least sympathetic, and Remus is probably the most conflicted. I meant to work the Muggle club in a bit more when I started writing it, but as I've noted before, it sort of got away from me. :-)
I know JKR says James gets better, but she didn't really show that, and canon does say James hated Snape on sight. The whole "it's because he exists, really" implies that his feelings about Snape weren't going to change; not between the ages of 15 and 18/19, at least. Thanks for reading and commenting.
