Thanks! I'm glad it worked for you, especially since non-con is so tricky. Honestly, I didn't start out writing it as non-con, or even dub-con, really, but it sort of found its way in.
Oh, and thanks for bringing up the mark. I think I meant to add a note about it, but totally forgot. I made up the crowned star because Regulus (like Sirius) is the name of a star, and because in Latin, Regulus means "little prince". I even doodled it to see if it could be cut with a knife, and it can be done with 7 little cuts.
