I almost didn't read this because I have a general avoidance of pairings that include the word "Ginny"... but it had Severus and Lucius so... I did. And I'm so glad! It was wonderful. Cracky, but plausible. Funny sweet and hot.
I think this would not have as believable without the beginning scene and the extendable ear... that made Ginny's participation believable. Now she could look at Lucius as someone who is not evil but is a victim and is trying to save his family from a madman and a werewolf. Snape, well he just roped into it didn't he... lol. I am assuming from Lucius' comment about binding a third into your bed, and the very hot kiss that there is a history of Snucius. I can totally see Snape going along with it with Lucius' prodding.
Luna and Lucius made it for me though. Her brashness (Ravenclaw curiosity, lol) and negotiation abilities were just perfect. Lucius' cunning and total willingness to take full advantage of opportunities that drop into his lap was just classic Lucius.
I just loved this! And I didn't even look at the author until after and then I was like... DUH! I always love her stuff!
