What you do in HP fandom and/or how long you've been here: I've been in the HP fandom since the year 2000, when I went to some Geocities sites and the AOL HP boards. Then I discovered ff.n, called myself Author By Night, and the rest is history! :)
These days I dabble in a little bit of everything - discussion, fic, the occasional filk.
Favorite HP characters or pairings: Characters are too hard to pick! Pairings are Ron/Hermione, and Remus/Tonks in fanon (not so much in canon). I think Bill/Fleur was JKR's best written ship, but it's not my favorite. It's odd. Then again, I'm not really much of a shipper...
Kinks, themes, and tropes that you eat up with a spoon (whether in HP specifically or more generally): Not into kinkfic, really. As far as fanfic goes, I love backstory fics, fics that take a different look at canon, that type of thing.
Kinks, themes, and tropes that you could really do without (whether in HP or more generally):
Other fandoms or fannish things you enjoy: I like The Good Place, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Buffyverse and Parks and Rec. As far as fannish things go... I don't know? I like any sort of discussion, any sort of meta.
What you do in real life, other hobbies and interests you have, or anything else you think we might find interesting about you: I'm a writer, and I also enjoy archiving.
We should friend you if: You want a friend who loves a good discussion post, who tries to be insightful both about fandoms and the world at large, and who has a sense of fun and humor but also gets serious when it counts. (And the way the world's turning these days, sometimes it really counts.)
