First, we apologize for the extreme tardiness of this message. I (r_grayjoy) have been on very restricted laptop time by order of my chiropractor. Or rather, by order of my chropractor's xrays. Yes, they were scary enough to keep me off the internet! *gasp* (Learn from my mistakes and get up, stretch, and go for a walk, kiddies! Maybe do some yoga! :P)

Now, on to the real news...

...Which is of the bad news/good news/good news/good news sort, we think. Which mean we expect the "yay!"s to outnumber the "groan"s by a sizeable margin. ;)

As we imagine everyone has realized by now, we will not be running Kinky Kristmas in the usual fashion this year. The mods are simply too overwhelmed with life and health matters to put in the effort required to run it properly -- and we're not willing to half-ass it. Also, it seems, judging by the results of the poll we conducted, a lot of our members are stretched a bit thin right now as well. So ixnay on the Istmaskray.

HOWEVER! Kristmas isn't so much cancelled as postponed. You see, March will be Daily Deviant's TENTH birthday! Ten years! That's practically forever in internet time. We definitely want to do something big to celebrate. So we've decided to hold a Banging Birthday event throughout March that will run exactly the same way that we've run Kinky Kristmas the past several years. Goodies to usher in spring!

ALSO! Our birthday celebration will extend into April as well. We have a number of events in the works for that month too -- all of which we'll be inviting both our members and our watchers to participate in.

ALSO ALSO! Although we won't be running the usual Kinky Kristmas this time around, we will still be doing something special for December. Something that will be fun and smutty but much lower stress for all parties inolved -- and that both members and watchers can still join in on.

So. Boo, but yay, yay, and yay???
