Artist's Notes: Am apparently going through a phase of using filters over pics. Ah well :). This is Tonks visiting Fleur at Shell Cottage. I considered making it Luna - and hey, it could easily be her, so feel free - but couldn't remember if Luna had freedom of movement at the point Tonks was obviously knocked up. Also, Luna would be 17 at that point, so having Fleur makes sure it's all above board. Plus, that way, Remus and Bill can be off having aggressive sex somewhere and no one is left out, yesyes? Ohgod, this picture might actually be naked gen. No, no, lets keep it femslashy. THIS OCCURS AFTER SEXY LADYSEX AMIRITE? Also, I expect they made good use of warming charms. Brr, nekkid on the beach.

Oh, that's beautiful - and the filter (what is it, exactly?) works so well with the natural/rustic tone of the picture. I love the calmness, and the way Tonks has her eyes closed as Fleur washes her hair.

Thank you! I "fixed" this with two different filters - one a warm yellow in a translucent setting because it looked far too cold for naked beach fun, and the texture over the top is from a set of greyscale high res "old photo" textures I found online (can't remember where... there was googling involved, and they're lovely, all burned and scratched and rough and dirty). The original is mostly black, and I set it to. Um. A setting. Possibly it is set to screen? I can't quite remember that, either, and I flattened the image when I was done so can't check. There's a setting that turns black to clear and keeps white opaque, and I used that one :).

Oh that's so beautiful! Fleur/Tonks is one of my femmeslash OTPs (as well you know) so I am totally in love with this. It's very sensual and the water motif (which is also a fave of mine) works so beautifully.

Definitely after Sexy Ladysex! I'm declaring it post-the Fleur/Tonks fic I wrote that you did the art for. ;)

Hee, that might make sense in the timeline - it might have to be a few *months* after, though, so that Tonks is showing a bit :D. I admit that I *did* think of you when I decided to go with Fleur over Luna (despite the alt. pairing), because I was all I KNOW AT LEAST ONE PERSON WILL LIKE THIS PAIRING :D.

I always assumed in my head that my fic was the beginning of a beautiful friendship, so sure, time passed, Tonks is preggers, etc.

Ooh, interesting! And thank you :D. I was being a bit lazy, I think, and just emphasising the existing lines in the scribble rather than inking over the top, but I kinda liked the hard scratchy black against the soft colours and the sweet curves :).

Thanks very much! It's a result of doing it in blues and cool tones and then thinking they looked FREEZING so putting a filter of golden yellow over the top - much nicer!

Thank you! I did it in quite light colours, initially, all pale blues and such; it looked far too cold. I threw a lot of yellow in a filter over the top to sunny it up a bit and it was much nicer after that!

My ability to porn is pretty broken right now. IDK why, but whenever I try to draw anything particularly explicit it doesn't hold my attention. So I can manage the sensual and the G-PG and maybe also the inappropriate but slightly amusing and that's kinda it!
