Ooo, this is lovely! Your coloring is exquisite. I love the pattern on Draco's stockings, and both their hair just looks so real. Plus, it's really really hot. Especially the contrast between their poses - Draco flailing almost out of control, and his partner looking so grounded. Wow.

I should have done a bit more on the stockings but couldn't. I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you very much for the kind words! X

Oh geez, fanlay... Really love how this is done without any background, sort of gives Draco that 'marionette' quality, with the placement of his hands. You always seem to manage to do a variation of a pose and make it better... Beautifully done, as always. I was so excited to see your name in the header.

Thank you so much Joanwilder. I realized that most of the figures in my drawing are either kneeling or lying and wanted to draw something different. I'm very glad you liked it. Thank you again for the kind words! X

*bites lip*
Mmmmm. You always manage to make me stare.
This is FABULOUSLY decadent and hot! Gah!
And I know who I think that is with Draco. ;)
Awesome art, as always!

Heheh.. the scar if not the tag gives it away. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you very much! X

wow. gorgeous coloring and pose, they just flow together so beautifully.
3rd February 2009 13:48
I'm very lad to hear that. Thank you very much! X

mmm, things I love about this: smeared lipstick, nipples as punctuation, and that foremost leg, I can's stop admiring the graceful awkwardness of the pose.

I'm very glad you enjoyed it. Thank you so much! X

Oh oh oh my god! Gorgeous as usual, but the Pantaleone mask totally makes this so much more than just a cross-dressing scene! It's like back-stage at a modern Commedia, with Draco still in his costume, and a sense that this scene has been coming (pun unintended there) all night. You're still absolute tops with the skin tones, and the green shadows add so much depth. And I love how you can just barely see that Draco is coming. Oh, and his smeared lipstick is ultra-ULTRA hot. Makes him look totally desperate.

Bravissima! And so good to see you and your wonderful art again. Also, a Happy Belated Birthday to you!

I wanted to make Draco's ruined make-up as a kind of main point in this picture but I think it didn't come out as strong as I'd intended. But I'm very glad that the smeared lipstick does add something. And I'm touched that you saw Draco's coming.
It's great to see you, too! RL is eating me up but I'm trying to hold on my membership here. I miss all the fanfics and fanarts. And thank you so very much for your wonderful comment! XX

WOW. That's amazingly gorgeous. I love the colors, and the expression on both their faces. The stance. And oh, Draco's clench fists! It feels like a frozen ballet, strangely enough. It's absolutely amazing!
3rd February 2009 14:03
A frozen ballet! what a wonderful feedback. Thank you so much! X

Oh! I love this!

The corset and positioning and the mask and, oh my goodness, the strained expression on Draco's face *fans self*

Hee- I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!

Your colouring is the best! And I absolutely love Draco's very male leg :)

Oh goodness, wow! That's exquisite. I absolutely adore the pose, it's very much a snapshot in time. The coloring is perfect and I love the mask on his partner who is otherwise nude, while Draco is still nearly fully dressed. This has a desperate quality from Draco's expression, the tilt of his head and his hands somewhat clenched fists. Wonderful work, as always.

I'm so glad you liked the pose and the mask. I couldn't trust the monitor of my laptop and wasn't sure about the colouring and now I'm very relieved that it looks ok. Thank you very much for the kind comment! X

Goodness gracious! That is very delicious! I must add my admiration of the colouring to those above. It's stunning work. I'm very fond of the nuances of skin as seen through the sheer stockings. The whole scene is enticing and there seems to be so much that has gone before. Very good work. It reminds me of old carnivals - and I do love that.

"there seems to be so much that has gone before"
I'm very glad to hear that. Thank you so very much for your kind words!

That is utterly beautiful. I love the angle, and the look on Draco's face...

As for a title--Masquerade?
3rd February 2009 14:10
Masquerade sounds good. I'll take that. Thank you!
And thank you for the comment! X

This is like the 4th time I've returned to look at this. I even chanced a second peek while at work yesterday, heh.

Their poses, the colours, the urgency, the need... it's breathtaking. Beautiful!!

I feel like the time I glanced out the window and saw my across-the-street neighbours at it in their living room, it's that real.

*adds to favourites*
3rd February 2009 14:14
You're very brave to look at this while at work. :-)
And I'm very flattered that this looks that real. (I hope the scene wasn't too harsh on your eyes)
Thank you very much for your kind words! X
3rd February 2009 04:30
Oh. Now I'm wondering why I *ever* look at art that doesn't have Draco in stockings and high heels. Because mmmmmmmmmmm.

*takes a fifth admiring look at the picture*
3rd February 2009 14:15
Hee- I'm glad the stockings and heels worked. Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. X
4th February 2009 18:44

5th February 2009 17:44
Ngggggggggggggggh!!! afscmdgfsdlkfhls!!!! *speechless*

The colours! The shadows! The poses!!! Yumyumyum!
6th February 2009 13:57
I love the desperation of the awkward poses, and their expressions, and Draco's clenched fists and smeared makeup. The mask gives it a surreal feel, as well.

Also, Draco's stockings are so pretty!

*gasp* Man, I've always loves your style and this one doesn't fail to amaze me! Fantastic! &hearts!&hearts!

Corset! Heels! Birdmask! Lipstick!
These are a few of my favourite things - beautifully delicate and balanced composition. I love Harry's concentration, Draco's almost desperate expression.
