Warnings: I don't think this is really terribly squicky, despite the chosen kink. I stayed away from anything bloody this time :). There's a not-very-scary scar.
Themes/kinks chosen: Castration (male)
Artist's notes: I was originally doing a Snarry with claustrophilia, but it wouldn't behave. I'll finish that at some point. This was done last night, and was nearly Bellatrix and an unnamed man, but then I started thinking about the emasculation of Lucius in DH, and a little bit about Minx's Lucius/Narcissa series, and it became a different sister. Bellatrix would have been drawn with a rather different affect - perhaps ferocity instead of a sort of dreamy fascination. Narcissa seems almost reverent :). I don't think this is a revenge cut - there's something more complicated going on here. But, um, searching Google images for the subject matter is not for the weak of stomach.

I was afraid to click. I almost didn't, I admit it. But I was curious and you promised it wasn't terribly squicky, and it really isn't. (Ha, you know what actually squicked me? Your description of that Google image in your journal. Somehow I already managed to delete it from my brain. ;-))

But wah, poor Lucius! :( Great job on Narcissa's expression. She does look fascinated. Maybe a mix of fascination and horror. And regret perhaps? Or I like to think so. Damn, I must be fascinated myself because for some odd reason I can't seem to stop looking at this. You're clearly evil. ;-)

On a more technical note, I love the lighting! Especially on her hair! How some individual strands stand out. And on her eyelashes.

And wow for you actually going there. *g*

You clicked! You brave soul :). Yay! I'm positive that it isn't really squicky, given the focus on Narcissa and the not-terribly-realistic approach...

Mm, there could easily be regret in there - it's a one-way-ticket, after all!

I had so much fun with her hair :D. My new tablet (♥♥♥) is so much smoother than the old, so long smooth strokes don't end up a jerky mess. Most of the image was drawn with the same brush, a custom one I made a while back that's just scrummy to work with, and then those brightest highlights were done with a plain ole hard round with all the settings on max - so they do pop, rather :D.

Gah, gah, that Google image. NEVER do that search. Holy crap. Body modification sites are a treasure trove of "OH MY GOD MY EYES".

Okay, so you have no idea how terrified I was to click this. I mean... Lucius, being castrated? Not something you'll ever see me advocating.

But, damn, that's pretty! The lighting (oh, god, Narcissa's hair) and the dreamy quality to it, and also the tip of Lucius' cock (something about the colouring, the way it seems wet... mmmm, nice, lickable XD).

I honestly didn't expect it'd be pretty, but yeah! The colours just ended up all having to be in a certain range (anything else felt wrong), and I really enjoyed the process of doing it - which is probably why it wasn't hard to throw it all together in under a couple of hours :). Yay, there *is* supposed to be the faintest hint of wet just at the opening of his urethra - glad that works :D.

(Oh, oh, I drew you Malfoycest, too. I just couldn't figure out how to post it on the comm - member, but no posting access... confusion and wibble and then giving up and posting it on my own journal)

And yes. I am all in favour of Lucius being fully intact - he might be *functional* as is (just a handy dandy regular dose of testosterone keeps everything in working order), but, well... bollocks are nice. And I think he'd prefer to have them :).

Well, I like that wetness (I know that sounds kinky, and there is no doubt I love Malfoy cock, but in a completely non-sexual context there's just something about it, the way the colours all merge, the light... I dunno, but I love it, so I don't care <3)

And even if the testosterone didn't work, a little bit a' magic would do the trick. There are spells for everything. Though, you're right, I think he'd rather have the bollocks than the spell.

:D. I figured that the squicky subject would be a good time to bring the pretty; it would've been too easy to go for gore, and that wasn't the approach I wanted for this :).

But in the end I'm glad I did. I echo all the comments on the colors (gorgeous!) and how effectively you managed to convey Narcissa's paleness despite the darkness (if that makes sense).
Poor Lucius! Voldie really has a lot to answer for. *sigh*

Thank you so much! I was actually doing a different picture for this, but got utterly stuck - this was just an attempt to do something completely different - different kink, different method, close rather than distant... everything :).

Brilliant. I love the vivid colours and her expression. The light on her hair and eyelid are simply gorgeous among the purple darkness - and yellow and purple of course work together. Great drawing. :)

Thank you! I am replying very late :-/. I do love the mix of the warm reds and yellows over the top of a deep purple :). And it's got blue-purple, and yellow-orange as well - perfect complementaries may not be subtle, but they're fun :D. Though I don't know if I'm going to run off and draw a red/green picture any time soon...

It's so interesting that you see that in Narcissa, because I keep looking for it, and I swear I can't. Usually when someone points out something other than what I had in mind when I was drawing, I can see it... but I can't see angry, huh :D. She's just all fascinated with Lucius' scarred and empty bits... In my head, there was never any anger involved :).

But whee, yay! I think it's so much more fun when there's some kind of canon link for something a bit extreme - some sort of basis for the leap into weirdness :).

(And can I say that I'm really happy that "beautiful" and its synonyms seem to be the words popping up for the castration picture? I freakin' love it when a sweet picture is labelled disturbing, and a squicky subject is pretty :D )

The red and purple is really ghostly looking and creepy, which seems appropriate for this. The little touches of light are really neat, esp on Narcissa's lashes, and that hint of glimmering moisture at his slit. Nom.

I snickered at the title and the idea of finishing off what Voldie started. Well, at least he still has *one* wand. Poor Lucius! Maybe he can get some fake balls. They make them for dogs, after all. ;-)
