These types are vampires are outside of my specific area, but I am familiar with vampires in the general sense including those that are... evil, for lack of a better word. When Angelus was in Atlantis several months ago, I privately tried working on tracking his location and movements. These vampires may have different habits and patterns, but if my old notes would help at all, I'd be glad to share them.

I like the idea of craft month. I made a Mardi Gras banner for Medical. Hopefully, it will cheer up anyone stuck at the hospital tonight. I was going to make

To-Be-Named Team Four, I'm Harry Potter and I'm your Quidditch Captain!

So. I'm gonna admit, it's been a while since I've actively ran a real Quidditch team past playing around with mates, so we're all on a fairly level playing field here. I plan on organising some one-on-one sessions for anybody who's brand new to flying and Quidditch if you want or need them - just ask me, okay? I'm an incredibly chilled out captain and you should all be glad you're not thrown into the Dragon's jaw by Oliver Wood with murderous bludgers.

That being said, we need to pick team colours. And a mascot. I would like to humbly suggest a dragon or a hippogriff because both animals are badass, but I'm willing to take a vote. I'm also always going to be loyal to the colours red and gold.

So, itinerary:

- One-on-one sessions to get everybody on a level playing field.
- Test games against each other! I want everybody to at least give other positions a go so you understand where you lay in relation to your teammates and playing other positions gives you an idea of how your actions can affect others. Beaters, this is particularly important - pay attention to where you hit shit.
- Teambuilding exercises. Yes, those. I don't know some of you at all and some of you are from my world's past/future one of you is my son's best friend who is like, my age, this is so we and being a solid team is super important. I'm not going to underestimate the other teams and I don't want any of you to do that either. Oliver might have nearly got me killed a few times, but he is one of the best captains I've ever seen and I'll bet that half of the people who haven't even played Quidditch have an affinity for it, so. I just want to make sure we're the best we can be.
- Notice that you can kick me in the ass if you ever think I'm being a dick or taking things too seriously. It is a game and we do have other jobs to do, but. I really want to win.

When is everybody free? Does anybody have any questions, by the way? We're going to cover everything you need to know about the game in training, but I'm happy to answer any questions you have now.

I hope everyone is taking regular precautions during flu season: washing hands, directing coughs into a tissue, etc. If you absolutely must go out in the storm today because you're compelled to buy bloody houseplants, bundle up and be careful. Also, if you are experiencing any alarming symptoms such as hearing voices or an urge to conquer Atlantis and haven't already consulted a medical professional, please do.

Since you're staying, I got you a housewarming present. It's an aloe vera. I figured it's attractive and useful, and not too high maintenance if your team gets sent on a mission.

I was looking for a housewarming gift for Temple, and I picked up a few extra houseplants. This one looks nice and cheerful, and it's supposed to make a good tea for stress. I thought it might look nice in your place, if you have room for it.

I went to the nursery and went a bit overboard. Would you like a houseplant? It's a marigold, nice and pretty, and calendula is good for lotions if you wanted to try.

I must admit attending the Wine & Paint was much more fun than I thought.

I think I'm g am hosting a Cookie Exchange Luncheon! Christmas eve at noon, outside Footsteps. Basically the rules are as follows:

Everyone brings one type of cookie. Your favorite, or whatever you're best at baking, or whatever you'd like to try. At least two dozen, but more is better.

They have to be homemade. I work at Footsteps, so you can't buy them here and use them.

You have to bring cookies to eat cookies. No exceptions.

We put the cookies out on a giant table, and there's refreshments and some other snacks.

Design a little card for your cookie at the little design kiosk that will be set up.

Everyone rotates around the room with a tin and takes one of everything (or one of whatever interests you).

We eat and try all of the cookies and end up in cookie comas. (Everyone profits!)

Anonymously vote for the cookie that was your favorite. Top 3 will win a prize from Footsteps Bakery.

If you don't mind sharing your recipe, make sure you bring it with you for when people ask. I suggest making copies or have it ready to be sent via network.

This advent calendar has been a lot of fun. Today I got socks and I never thought I'd like navy blue and gren polka dots but they're kinda cool. They'll definitely stand out in a crowd.

Well, hello there again, Atlantis of the past. Did you miss me that much? Talk about some serious deja vu.

Starting December 8th, characters who were somehow wished for by people in Atlantis will start to show up from intake! Whoever wished for them will be called by an intake or relations specialist and additional personnel will be called in to help with all this processing! Below, you will find separate comment threads for each day between the 8th and the 14th with threads for OOC chatting and IC interaction (texts, network chatter, etc). We are asking that a bulk of the "hi, wtf" netposts and texts be kept to this post rather than having almost 90 NPCs all make separate network posts when they arrive. THIS POST ONLY COVERS THE FIRST WEEK OF THIS PLOT. IF ANOTHER IS NEEDED PAST THEN, IT WILL BE POSTED NEXT WEEKEND :) If you haven't requested caccess to the IC community with your NPC journals, please feel free to do that now! We will not be sending invites since IJ doesn't let us use the console for that and there are a fucking lot.

I am so sorry for the shoes I stole yesterday. I have no idea what got into me.

In an effort to try to offset any homesickness I might feel this month... does anyone want to plan some holiday things with me? There’s the Parade of Lights tonight we could go to. We could plan a time to get a Christmas tree (can we get one here???) if people want to, and decorate it while watching a holiday movie and baking cookies to give to people. We could go ice skating? Have an ugly holiday sweater party? A gift exchange? Anything, really. I’m curious what other people’s holiday traditions are, too.
