Dear Matt,
Maureen Wilson
PS: They gave me my mother's maiden name, I think I may have an auntie with my very name. It's funny.
PPS: I did remain remarkably coherent then? Good to know. I don't drink much so I suppose it's genes!
It's true, I suppose, that writing can really help get stuff off your chest, but I was never particularly good with words, or at least I didn't think I was. To be honest I'm not much for self reflection; or I wasn't until I got here. I guess all this cosmic "stuff" has a way to make you think. And now I am a fan of writing it out. Not to people, necessarily, but I might just grab a diary or something.Best,
This feels new to me too, you don't read like anybody I know. And I've never had an anonymous penpal! I like it.
You're not wrong in that I've met people here I wouldn't have otherwise. In a way I've had a lot more excitement here than I was ever likely to back home and considering my previous situation that's saying quite a bit. I suppose I should look on the bright side, I always do anyway. But that day I wrote you, it had only just happened. And I was on that arena thingy, which left me out of sorts for days. I'm a little more cheerful a week later, I'll tell you that much.
I do love music! I don't know that I have a favourite genre just because I like so much from so many different ones, you know? I've been catching up on Earth music from all the years I hadn't lived yet, actually. Why, are you a musician?
