Hello! I was told I should probably introduce myself before I go gallivanting around town. I'm Newt Scamander, it's a pleasure to meet you all, I should hope. I'm apparently being called in to assist with being a veterinarian - I'm aware there's no separation here between muggles/no-maj and wizards and witches, so I should warn you all that I probably won't be using the typical 'drug an animal and cut it open' method of fixing anything that's wrong.

I am, however, quite knowledgeable about animals - especially magical creatures, but I have owned non-magical creatures before as well. You would be surprised at how many of them are actually magical and simply don't show you.

So, it seems like people are seeing people or well parents. Because I'm pretty sure I keep seeing both my Mom and Dad, which would be pretty unbelievable seeing as my Dad's never really been part of my life and I haven't seen my mother since I was 15. I'd rather see-

I know it's impossible but I saw my mother at Coffee Me Better this morning. She was on the other side of the room sitting at a table but when I got to her, she ewas gone.

I hope this is just a weird Atlantis thing and I'm not seeing ghosts but it was a very strange feeling.

I am struck with hundreds of words and yet still speechless. My God, this place is remarkable. I feel as if I could search for days and still find things to experience. I know this overwhelming feeling will pass, eventually, but I am happy to cling to it for now, as everything is so.... Beautiful. Exquisite. Other words that I am sure are there and impressive but I can't seem to conjure them up at the moment!


I am Signor da Vinci, but I think we will all be friends shortly, so everyone may call me Leonardo!... Do you think they'd give me the tour again? I have more questions and I did not see nearly enough to sate my curiosity. Remarkable.

I can't believe that Lauren will be five years old tomorrow. She's growing up so fast and i wish that I could freeze time and keep her where she is but of course that's impossible. As for the baby, I've been feeling pretty good except for some mild morning sickness. There was that day that I was seeing and arguing with snakes which kind of freaked me out but thankfully it was a weird Atlantis thing and not a crazy pregnant thing.

[Friends] Since Lauren's birthday is on a Monday, we're having a low key get together at our place. There will be cake and ice cream naturally. Feel free to stop by any time after six.

I don't know what came over me yesterday, but I do have to say that I'm kind of relieved my closet is only half as full as it was. I cleaned it out and took my clothes to the local donation shop. It's almost freeing, in a sense.

Hello. My name is Mia. The hologram suggested that I should introduce myself, so that is what I am doing. I have only recently arrived and I need to get my bearings but it appears that I will be staying a while. I don't quite know how I can help this fight, I suppose I'll find out.
