Okay. I can't draw for shit but I doodled an abomination of a bird on my notepad while doing something else and it flew away SOMEHOW so if you see a horrifying birdlike thing that shouldn't exist, I did it. Sorry.

The weirdest thing happened to me today at lunch and I know saying something is weird around here doesn't necessarily mean anything snce it's always weird but still. I was at a salad bar and I put pecans on my salad. I couldn't eat them though because every time I tried, they screamed at me. Yes, pecans were screaming at me.

At least I know it wasn't just me because a couple of other people were having the same problem. So stay away from pecans today, I guess.

Well. At least the sun was out today, for all the good it did the temperature.

I'm Dimitri Belikov and I've been tasked with leading the teams that are hunting the Strigoi that are here in Atlantis. As we're all painfully aware, there have been some people attacked already and they are being treated in Medical. I don't have to tell you how dangerous these things are or how little they care for the living.

I cannot stress enough the impotance of not going out after dark. They are nocturnal creatures, they hunt at night and it doesn't matter what time as long as it's dark. I would suggest not even going out at twilight if possible. They're extremely fast so running will not help. Even during the day, don't go anywhere alone, take someone with you, go as a group, just don't go alone.

If you have the need to go somewhere after dark that neccessary, contact me and either I or someone who is experienced in dealing with Strigoi will go with you.

How many have we actually gotten? Between checking in Medical and doing my own hunting and trying to keep everyone informed, I could have missed something.

So, the photobooths are not the TARDIS, I checked. Was disappointed until I wasn't - highly recommend trying one out if you're interested in talking to your suspiciously absent wife for a little while. Or, I guess, it's totally possible you'll end up talking to my wife as well, which I still highly recommend because she's fantastic.

Hi, so I don't know if you've all heard, but there are vicious vampires (Strigoi, if we're being specific - but it's not dead on to the Romanian "myths") attacking people. So far only a few serious injuries and no deaths, but they're still on the loose. It's a work in progress. I'm helping this deliciously broody Assassin try and catch them, so if I'm not around much, it's cause I'm a big fucking hero.

Anyway that's your warning - don't be the next victim, keep a silver stake on you and practice sunlight and fire spells. Kay? Kay.
