At least my goth phase only lasted a day. I distinctly remember having an urge to get rid of every ounce of color in my wardrobe and but a lifetime supply of eyeliner. That was weirder than Sara’s random soccer thing.

I feel like as long as I'm dressed the part, I should be writing angst-ridden poetry and listening to Depeche Mode on repeat. I think the last time I wore this much eyeliner I was pretending to be a Goa'uld servant. How do you ladies with glasses keep mascara from smearing all over the lenses?

That isn't how I expected to find myself flying again. My four year old self would have been thrilled.
