After a lot of thought, I've made the decision to go back home. It's not always been easy, actually there have been moments my time here has been incredibly hard and painful, but I'm glad that I was pulled here randomly almost a year ago now. I didn't get to know as many of you as I would have liked, but to those that I did, I hope some part of our time together sticks with me once I go back. There's still a lot I want to do and work towards at home, and I know it's time for me to get back to doing it. I'm planning to leave after Halloween because I'm betting this place puts on an awesome Halloween bash, and I need to see that.

I hope you both understand why I need to go. I know it sounds weird since you'll both be there in New York and who knows if I'll remember any of this, but I'll miss you.

This place either wants to turn me into a barge with all of these cookies every day or thinks I need fattening up. I'm not a fan of either option.

I don't know about the rest of you, but half of these cookies I've never tasted anything like them before in my life.

Tomorrow evening, anyone is welcome to come by Dive for somewhat of an unofficial memorial to celebrate the lives of those that we lost by sharing any memories you may have from your time with them here in Atlantis or from your home worlds if you knew them there. Everyone is encouraged to speak, but if you'd rather come and listen to others, please don't feel obligated or pressured.

Drinks will be provided tomorrow, but otherwise Dive will remain closed for the remainder of the week in order to help assist with rebuilding elsewhere.

Yesterday, COS was defeated. We have a handful of field agents still locating any COS agents hiding or on the run. Every last one that remains in this city will be found and captured. Captain Snow is dead, and the war on the battlefield is now over. The effort of every single person whether you actively fought or not was felt, and Atlantis owes you a great debt. This war could not have been won without those of you that have stayed and fought for our lives here and back home.

Wars leave scars, however, and this one is no different. Over the last couple of weeks, we've lost loved ones, teammates, friends, and family. Countless more are injured. Those that we've lost will be honored with memorials, but if close friends and family would like to pay their respects in private in addition to this, please do so. For those that were close to the names of the fallen listed below*, you have my deepest sympathies and condolences. Their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Please take the time you need to grieve and to recover. All training will be on hold. Do not hesitate to reach out for help if you find yourself needing it in whatever capacity. Over the next several weeks, we will rebuild, and this information will be provided at a later date. For most of us, Atlantis has become our home, and it will continue to be our home for as long as we choose to stay.

There is still a great deal to be decided over the coming weeks, but if anyone has any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to come to me.

It has been an honor to fight alongside all of you.
