September is definitely being the strangest month so far. I'm scared to see what October has to bring, considering is Halloween and all.

So, yesterday I was taking a walk/run down by the lake and ended up falling in. Now... these weird images started to creep in my head. Like memories that aren't really my memories.

One was a really creepy "dollhouse" where I was trapped for a while and something about being stuck under some mistletoe. Totally random and weird, right?

Does opening what looks like a mini black hole in your living room void your security deposit?

Yesterday I went thrift shopping and I found the greatest deals. I am a master of thrift shopping!

Which is totally weird to say considering actual people from Star Wars are here in Atlantis.

For today, Coffee Me Better will be having some special themed cookies. Just say, 'May the Fourth be with you' and get one free Yoda, Jabba, Stormtrooper, Death Star, or lightsaber-shaped cookie. If you call that world home, just show up and we'll give you an assortment of freebies. If it's not too weird for you, I mean.

Patterns emerge.

Flowers and someone/thing else putting feelings in my head that I didn't acquire naturally. At least this time they went away cleanly.

I did learn something though: You can't have to marry a man or you will lose your family's property to the next male heir if you don't have a family.

Also I have a dog. I don't know what to name him. But he's cute.

ETA: His name is now Domino, courtesy of Rocco (Rocky in my head) Spinnet.

Policy change: From now on anyone who bumps into me and doesn't go on their way after exchanging the socially acceptable 'sorry' 'it's ok' stuff is getting clocked.

What a peculiar place. I will, of course, assist the war effort in any way possible, though I confess that my generals would likely be of more use, as would the remaining members of my Millinery. I feel fairly confident that my personal guard, Homburg Molly, would be upset if she knew I was having such an adventure without her here.

But I get ahead of myself. I am Alyss.

I know I wasn't that drunk to where I wouldn't notice being moved or anything like this. Is this type of thing common around here with the waking up to new roomies and rooms?
