So, yesterday I was taking a walk/run down by the lake and ended up falling in. Now... these weird images started to creep in my head. Like memories that aren't really my memories.

One was a really creepy "dollhouse" where I was trapped for a while and something about being stuck under some mistletoe. Totally random and weird, right?

It's both exciting and terrifying to imagine what one's children will be like as adults. I had the most vivid dream of Helena all grown up. I think she was a police officer. We were having a family dinner, but Rebecca and I were the same age as we are now the way things are in dreams. I'd apparently made it to ADA, even so. It's nice to dream when I'm buried in textbooks.

My name is Gabi and in one of my classes I have to put together a fashion show for my midterm, which is obviously weeks away, but I’d like to line up some models nowish so there’s plenty of time for fittings. I promise it will be fun and I’ll let you keep the pieces you’ll be wearing if you like them!

I miss the summer already. School is so boring, especially now that most of my friends have graduated. On the plus side, we've already got a 3-day weekend coming up.

Can I ask you a weird question? (No, that wasn't it.)

I know it's not something everyone loves, but I love Dog Appreciation Day! All the shops with the dogs visiting is so much fun.

I also loved the wedding yesterday where the best man and maid of honor were dogs. It was adorable!

I can't decide if the Willy Wonka themed wedding I just got a call about is the weirdest or the coolest thing I've ever heard. Probably the coolest, because I've actually gotten weirder requests.

Speaking of, we just got an email from a couple that wants to turn their October wedding into Zombieland. People are weird.

This has been a strange weekend. I went to a few thrift shops yesterday during my lunch hour and I bought myself a shirt. Unfortunately when I got home with it, I found some rather......unusual......stains on it. No, I don't now what they were and I think I'm better off not knowing.

Then today I'm on call and I had to go in because of this strange weather. Thankfully none of the kids I saw was hurt badly but I've never seen anything like this before.

Yesterday I went thrift shopping and I found the greatest deals. I am a master of thrift shopping!



[ PLOT :: The Thriftshops in town are having lots of sales today. THREE CHARACTER find great steals while ONE CHARACTER picks up a shirt that hasn't been cleaned. ]

I never thought I'd argue about flower arrangments with a snake.

I got through today without tripping over anything or injuring myself again, so I'm going to assume that whole run was just Atlantis really enjoying Friday the 13th. Bad luck aside, we discovered a hidden treasure, so well done, everyone.

This pecan pie is delicious! I'm not sure what the occasion was that they were handing them out today, but I'm not complaining!

First things first, I'm fine. I'm in medical, I have a hell of a headache, but I'm okay.

I hear I missed a party. Which, I know is most unlike me. But, I have a reason for it. For you see, dear friends. I am being held against my will. And, while I may have admitted myself freely. They are holding me until I can be deemed no longer a danger unto myself. And, I find myself bored beyond tears. And, frustrated by the lack of a decent meal.

So dear friends. I'll be plain. I am in the hospital, drying out or whatever the modern parlance may be. And, by all accounts the worst is over. And, I am craving a decent meal, and paper and implements with which to draw. Charcoal by preference. But, also company and distraction.

Therefore, the conclusion is. Please visit. And bring food. French food. None of your colonial rubbish.

So, um... Atlantis, huh? This is super weird because my parents are way younger than I remember. But mom said that Uncle Neal is here too, so that's cool.

Hey Uncle Neal... I don't think you know me that well yet, but I promise you seem to will love me eventually. So um... maybe we can catch up on the bonding stuff later, and we can skip ahead to you helping me figure out how to keep me from becoming a victim of filicide.
