I've always wanted to fly in a hot air balloon but it would have been nicer if Atlanis had picked a day that it wasn't raining to drop me into one. Hopefully somebody that's in here with me knows how to fly one and get us down because I sure as hell don't.

I'm somewhat accustomed to oddities as somebody who's been here for long enough to recognise them - however, they often surprise me by being utterly ordinary and harmless, as I'm assuming is the case here. Unless I am somehow conversing with a COS agent, the greatest danger I can see happening here is that I get a papercut or that I spill some ink, both of which are relatively unlikely in the grand scheme of things.

It's a pleasure to meet you too, despite the awful name I've been forced to don for this...event. My true name is much more eloquent than Bogtrotter.

That being said, I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of this exercise is. Atlantis is so small that any reasonable amount of information would reveal our identities to each other, no? So, for the sake of something for you to look at, I've attached my favourite recipe for a breakfast feast.

I imagine that as a resident of Atlantis you are accustomed to its oddities inasmuch as it is possible for anyone not newly arrived to be. (If you are a new arrival, then I apologize for any consternation you may currently feel. One does adjust over time, at least to a degree.) Waking to a pile of stationary and a compulsion to write under a pseudonym is one of the more harmless manifestations of overflowing creativity. I find it mor charming then some, but the battle to be fought here is, I believe, worth most of the inconveniences. It is a pleasure to meet you.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but I have the polar opposite of a green thumb. Does anybody know any spells for like, keeping plants alive? Or, does anybody want some plants?

49 years old. God fucking damn.

I have to admit, the recent rainfall has done wonders in increasing the growth of fungi in the area.

I've been taking a lot of samples to see how and where they differ from what exists in my world, but if anybody here does happen to have a passing interest in mycology, I'd actually be quite interested to see what kind of things grow in your world.

It's been thundering for like, the past week. I feel like this is prophetic of something, but I don't really know what.

Uh, I'm not normally somebody to suggest these kinds of things, but I didn't have family in the Arena thing and so I want to offer to be the organiser for everybody else. We should maybe do something as a group. There's not a whole lot of teens here compared to adults and like, I feel like maybe sometimes it all gets us dragged into the being responsible thing/shouldering things like adults do but there's still some time to relax and have fun, so. We should do something fun. I don't know what exactly, but something. Camping seems definitely a no after

I'm not sure I'm offering much assistance here and- there's clearly a lot I need to fix back home, judging by everything that's happened here. I have kids at some point and I don't want to be a bad father to them. I can't keep...hiding from this.

I'm mostly recovered from being a giant dinosaur, but more importantly, the mushrooms in the jungle are a mycologist's dream. If anybody wants to come with me I'm more than happy to help identify samples (in other words - what's edible, what isn't and what'll make you trip beyond belief).

I think it's pretty evident that I need to be moved from Engineering to Science & research. I'm an ABBA and I need my research to be incredibly black and white, right now. I brought slimes with me to Atlantis that I'd like to plant and cultivate into fully grown babies.
