Save Atlantis RPG

I went to the beach today, determined to have a good time. If anybody wants to join me in flipping the proverbial bird to the rain, I've created a nice little safety bubble where we can pretend it's actually sunny rather than this pathetic spitting we have.

Normally I'd hate the heat and the summer, but the temperature's been surprisingly reasonable here in comparison to some places on Midgard.

Hypothetical question: If you had the power to make literally any outfit you could ever want, what would you wear?

I'm running out of ideas of uses for this power besides stupid pranks.

I'm really not a hat guy. Especially not a cowboy hat guy, but apparently this place is insistent that I must wear a hat today.

I feel like it's some sort of slight on the sunburn I got last week.

Quick question - why is everything so pink? I tried to cook a meal earlier and got too freaked out by the neon pink fire I was trying to deal with. Kinda normally means some kind of escaped gas that we shouldn't be cooking with.

Sam and I were chatting about our grandmama's cooking and now I've got a taste for some good old fashioned down home cooking. Anyone here have a good recipe for proper brisket? Or fried okra? Pecan pie?

I'm bored, which is never really a good sign.

I'm toying with the idea of making equipment to help enhance people's natural abilities, if anybody's interested in being a test monkey for that.

Morgan is very offended that you didn't attend her tea party. She threw the invite in the ocean and everything, so it clearly should have reached you.

Yesterday's storm made me feel strangely nostalgic. I never thought I'd like lightning.

My own flesh and blood has just upstaged me by walking the dog with two yo-yos at once. That's it. I give up. I'm a sham.

Is this because I always laughed at people when they told us stories of Atlantis doing weird stuff to them? Because this was funny for the first day, but now it's just mean :(

Do the trees here normally chitchat to each other? I just caught one sassing about the coverage of leaves another one has and that it'll just be wasted when winter makes its way back around.

I've found a book on building log cabins, but it's a lot more complicated than I ever thought it'd be. I actually managed to find somebody selling pine wood (surprisingly) but now I'm sorta tasked with the fact that I have no idea how much pine wood you need for a log cabin, or how much pine wood.

I think the urge to take pictures has to be one of Atlantis' less intrusive prank-things. I actually kinda had fun with this one.

That being said, most of my pictures came out badly focused, blurry or just plain shitty. Maybe we'll get lessons tomorrow, or something.

I've only just saved the earth from the apocalypse. I was actually expecting a break, not to be thrown into a slightly more tropical war than the village of Tadfield.

I never really know what to get anybody, so I usually just get stupid novelty gifts but I realised that only like, works with a long history of giving stupid novelty gifts so instead I baked you a cake. Is there a good time to bring it over, what with the...fairy shenanigans?
