Okay, serious parenting question for the Altantis hive mind:

What do you do when you run out of space on the fridge... and the walls? Between Lauren's regular art endeavors and craft month, I think every surface is covered with yarn or glitter. Do you make a rotating display?

So, I can already lift like, 10 tons. I promise I didn't need these bursting muscles just cause I ate a salad for once. They tore my favorite shirt! ... which I can fix myself, but I really want a reason to complain, and my Spidey suit stretches enough sooooo. That's all I've got.

Sorry for the delay in getting to you all, I was evidently not myself yesterday. By not myself, I was some kind of weird anthropomorphic fish/octopus/god knows what, which sincerely hindered my ability to type this up properly.

I'm Jim Kirk and I'll be the guy leading both of your teams. There's been a big shake up with people leaving and teams changing lately, so I'd like to do some exercises for us to get to know each other properly and as a team - training, ice breakers and learning whatever makes us all special. I'm Starfleet trained, so I mainly use that as my basis for leading, but I am somebody who's open to suggestion if you have an upper hand in whatever scenario we're in.

I'm figuring you all know the drill by now, but any questions or comments?

I am placing notice in support of Lieutenant Commander Kirk's resolution to "fuck work" today. A long weekend upon the beach sounds rather relaxing and that is where I will be until our Quidditch match this weekend, should any require my assistance. I would prefer that assistance being something fun or relaxing, should there be any choice in the matter.

Should anyone wish to help with a fire, perhaps we can roast meat to share.

Well, I ain't never been much for hugs that don't end up leading to someone's wallet, but something just overcame me today. I saw them white hats headed to training and something just bubbled up in me, like when you drink too much Burnett's and have to hurl, but it was warm and loving instead of acidic and nose-curling. I couldn't help it. I had to hug them fools. They're gonna be the first to die all hero-like and that's dumb as rocks, but my little business here sure does appreciate the cannon fodder.

Is 'nothing' a new language? Some new craze with the kids Old Man Jim Kirk can't keep up with? It doesn't exactly seem like a happy way of communicating, I gotta admit. Hello, some of you know me and some don't. My name is Edmund Pevensie. When we were children, long before coming to Atlantis, my siblings and I traveled to and grew up in a world called Narnia. We lived and ruled there for fifteen years before returning to our own England. Back in England we joined with others who had also visited that world to form the Friends of Narnia for those who shared a love for and connection to our homeland. Of that group, four of us are here in Atlantis. That legacy is also yours, whether through family or through action.

Two years ago, COS launched an attack on our world of Narnia. They attempted to disrupt one of the keystones of Narnian history: the ending of the Hundred Year Winter and the return of Christmas. In doing so, they released a shade of one of Narnia's greatest enemies into Atlantis, the White Witch Jadis. All of you, whether you remember being here at the time or not, participated in that mission to set matters right, and as such, we would extend to each of you the title of Friend of Narnia. Long overdue, as it is, you are invited to a Christmas Eve gathering at the Old White Lion to thank you for helping to ensure that Christmas did indeed return to Narnia. As per an anonymous request the other week, I've got in some high CBD and low THC strains and edibles, too. I'm starting to think I should get some kind of certification so I can officially make brownies, man.
