The oddest thing just happened to me. I was outside, complaining about the weather and how I wished it were sunny, and it suddenly turned sunny around me. Just me. And even talking about it here just made it sunny indoors.

I don't know what's going on but I'm assuming this is Atlantis magic at work. The snowstorm was — you've got to be kidding me?! — the sunny weather is very nice. That's better.

Well, let's make the most of this. Anyone that wants good weather is welcome to come join in outdoors.

Oh my goodness, I did not expect this! The guardianship paperwork has gone through, clearly. I hope you're both alright with us living together as a unit?

Between cookie competitions, baking with children, children, holiday foods, gatherings, parties, more baking, stress baking and stress eating... I need to get back into shape. A shape that isn't round.



But also I may be dead from trying to run. Never again. Running is for being chased, not fun. This one isn't for me.

Good news, friends in Atlantis! Everything is worked out and I'm going to stay around. After all, someone might need to rain down Hellfire or look after Ambrose. Maybe both. ... so, Cousin. I'm moving in with you, Dylan Dog and Anne of Austria. Are we actually living with a Queen? Wow And of course, Salem.

I'm also working at the coffee shop part time and going to school. Basically, this is my big plea for all the friends.

I've gotta give this place credit, I haven't come as close to applying to stay as I did last night. Someone should've warned me shower sex was so dangerous, I would've tried it much sooner.

Addy and I came up with a bucket list of things we'd like to do before we go back, and if anyone would like to help, this is my part of the list and I accept all offers of help or friends to join me:

Learn how to knit.

Learn pottery

Making homemade slime.

Makeup. Teach me how to makeup, please - specifically eyeliner.

I also need company for a mani/pedi.

Learn how to salsa or tango.

Legos. Legoes? I need lego building buddies.

My wonderful family managed to find me a working, well-tuned piano for Christmas, which I've so enjoyed over the last day or so. Are there other musicians here who would come play with me? Music is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a bit of a rare commodity in my timeline, and it's one of the bits of 'creativity' that I'd like to explore while I have the chance.

I am pleased to announced that I, D'Artagnan, have completed all the necessary requirements for staying in Atlantis. I have even been assigned the job of Combat Field Agent to Team 12. I cannot imagine doing anything else, and I hope to serve proudly.

Team 12, I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.

I apologize if I was difficult to contact yesterday, I couldn't stop (quite literally) baking cookies. At last count, there were nineteen different types in my house, to varying degrees of success.... Most of them wouldn't be deemed edible. At least according to my toddler. (He gets much nicer as he ages. Or can simply lie a little better.)

I am sincerely sorry for taking over the kitchen, Chirrut and Mikaela, I would be happy to purchase you both dinner to make up for it.

I've woken up in unusual beds before, but never ones quite as nice as this.

Nor have I woken up to fantastical sights such as these. I'm not sure if I can believe it, or if I can believe that my beautiful wife is here along with my best friends. Perhaps once I am done with this intake meeting I can see them for myself. In some way.

Or maybe I'll fall back asleep and wake up back at the garrison in Paris.
