Hello, everyone! My name is Scorpius Malfoy, and I'm one of the new people that came through yesterday. I must admit, everything went a lot smoother than I would have anticipated - not because you're not capable or anything! - but because I've always read that Atlantis was fictional or a myth or the ruins of an older, more-advanced civilization beyond what we would be able to recognise, but everything seemed in tip-top shape yesterday. I've already found Albus, and I found my room (hello, Marina and Rebecca!), and I
think I've got my job sorted so-- there was only this part left.
Am I supposed to write a little bit about myself? I hate this part. You already know my name,
which let's be honest is usually the first thing to go wrong I was Sorted to Slytherin House and was Head Boy my last year, I like Quidditch a
lot, I'm a big reader and there's honestly not an embarrassing genre of pop music that I haven't enjoyed listening to. Once I discovered pop music, I mean. I know
so many of you from home (or know
of you), but Albus says that a lot of you are younger so you won't know me, but that's fine. I don't mind starting again from the beginning. And besides, now you won't remember the time I walked into a glass door that I thought was open at the post-graduation luncheon.
As for my job, I'll be brokering announcements as to what's happening in Altantis proper, such as promotions or special events. It sounds very exciting; I've
definitely never had my finger on the pulse of social things, or a had much of a social life at all, so um... I'll see you around!
