Is it pathetic that I wish I'd gotten the Ouija so I could say hi bye something to my mom and not a minion of Our Lady Underground looking like my mom?

It can be a little difficult to make peace with some things that happen here. At home, there was an artifact that could control people and I used it - briefly - in order to confiscate it from men who would have abused its power a hundred thousand times over. It makes me especially anxious when Atlantis decides to steal people's will, but also regretful for when I chose to do the same to others. The greater good excuse feels hollow in retrospect.

Nothing can change what is done, but I hope to keep putting some good back into the universe to balance the scales. It is a small thing, but I offered to foster injured birds for the animal shelter, hoping my experience with messenger birds could come in handy there. I did not expect they would allow me to care for this extraordinary creature.

Damn, I'm glad it's the weekend. I woke up yesterday to find a bunch of hiking gear in my wardrobe yesterday and I just had to go out and see how good it was. I hiked for hours and had a great time, especially as the weather was actually pretty nice, unlike today. I haven't actually hiked for no reason for ages. Really cleared the mind. Left me a bit stiff today but I feel good anyway.

I told you school is stupid and humans are stupid. Guess who was right.

I was right. I'm not coming home.

Reflection is useful. And I want to better understand how my actions have positive and negative impacts on others. In another ... well, in another universe? That had been secondary to the mission I believed God placed before me. But here in Atlantis, things are different. And I am thankful for them.

Now, I know there aren't many Americans here. But some sort of meal, maybe? To express gratitude. Gratitude for the opportunities we've been given here. I want to know if you think it's a good idea.

I spent the first day wondering if this was some weird haunted vision, or a fever dream. Spent the second day wandering around. Still in "holy fuck" mode.

I'm Theo Crain. I guess I'm going to stick around for a while, they mentioned you guys have a shortage of psychologists, and I know how much everybody loves those.

Can this day be over already?
