I find it hard to believe that so much of this world is entirely possible, but I am content to embrace it either way.

My name is Anne. My son, Louis, and I are newly-arrived. Is there a reference available for how to operate the modern technologies here? I would hate to trouble anyone, and I'm sure I can manage to learn, but I'm dreadfully out of place and time.

I feel like Atlantis gets off on this Sorry I've been kind of AWOL. Clearing up all the shit at Base took far more energy than ever anticipated and I've been in a Pumpkin Spice induced coma ever since.

What's everybody doing?

I’m a cartoon. Literally. Which I guess it makes sense since apparently the world I come from is a comic book.

Either way, I’m not mad about it! I look good as a cartoon.

I think the last time I saw a haymaze was when I was in Iowa for the building of the Enterprise. I'm happy to say that I did not get lost. But I think that is mainly because Lauren is an excellent guide.

I didn't expect to wake up in a hay maze yesterday morning but thankfully I'm good at puzzles so I was able to get out. I would have hated to have missed the party last night. It was a good time so thanks guys!

It is disconcerting to wake up in a maze, then hours later get the news that another friend has left. Makes one feel extra detached.

It appears you're my last friend in this place. I saw you talk about Halloween the other day (I am sorry for not responding but the base has been under all sorts of strange trouble.) and it occurred to me I have never celebrated Halloween either. What have you decided to do?

Atlantis has a terrible sense of humor. I'd thought the one bright side of leaving Breckentale and the police department was no longer having to deal with adolescent vandals.

I'd like to say that I haven't partied like that since I was in my twenties, but I'm sure I've never experienced a magic party. Well done.

My lesson plans tomorrow are fucked. Students, prepare to just hear me lecturing on how the existence of magic is about as chaotic as chaotic theory can get.

Ugh. Can you ask around see if I can share the bed with you and get some IV fluids? I'm usually fine but that Valkyrie lady brought Asgardian booze and I had some. I just now woke up.

I think my blacking/passing out was mostly harmless but if I broke anything lemme know. Thanks, Margo, for bringing the hot Valkyrie with the lethal booze to the party.

Here's a list of things I discovered about being human again:

I'm lactose intolerant. The cheese fries are a delight but they're painful. The interesting thing is I have no memory of this from um the first time around.

I still have what is probably considered super-human alcohol tolerance. I don't want to test it but 3 shots and I'm only in the "flushed smile" category. I was never a sad or angry drunk.

I was never as fast or as strong as my brother. But I do enjoy getting up every day for a run around the lake. Having to think about my strength and my stamina instead of just relying on it. That's fresh.

I miss being able to block out the p

Being tired is ... dare I say, fun.

All this to say no, I do not miss blood. I do not miss the guilt and the responsibility. I would really like to go to a Halloween party having nothing horrible actually happen.

And if you want to meet me tomorrow night for trivia, I'm open to that too.
