I was in the medical ward today, and I'm sorry to have to tell you, but Octavia was badly injured in the battle. She died this afternoon.

Mom I'm learning computer things as of now.

Some of the things you can find in the shops here are pretty interesting. Yesterday I saw a really rocking chair. Literally. A chair carved out of rock. ( Cut for Image )

Evidently, it's a reproduction of a chair used in Pompeii around 79 A.D., before the volcano erupted. I don't know if I'd want one, but it is cool.

I'm more interested in is this returning from the dead thing. Is this something all of us ought to expect every time somebody bites the big one?

This is happening IC tomorrow but I wanted to get up a post in case anyone ELSE wanted to like be involved with stuff. We're going to have all baby-related stuff in here instead of doing a million posts for texts and etc. This post will be edited at some point with the Romitri log Jeanna and I are working on now, but see the comments sections for places to weigh in with visitations and etc. I'm also posting a day early to give us time to plan and chat before the birth actually happens! Rose will be going into labor around 2pm and Ivan will be born around 9pm as per random.org.

Everyone's back from Narnia now, right? I heard they're having a party to celebrate a successful mission even if some people won't. It's hard to think there are some people who won't be there. I'm really very sorry to those of you who lost friends or other loves ones. Even when we've seen people come back, it's never an easy thing to go through. I know it's not much, but if anyone needs to talk or anything, I'm here for you, even if we've never talked before.

What the bloody sort of sticking charm is this? I'm stuck.

This....is not Dantooine. That aside while this is not where I wished to go, it is where the Force has led me. Considering it's peculiar sense of humor, it does seem I am needed here. Until that changes, it is where I shall stay.

So, do allow me to introduce myself. I am Meetra Surik, and I was a Jedi Knight. I shall be offering training in the ways of The Force, and what knowledge I do have about it. While I am unaware if there are other force sensitives here, if there are I shall be happy to teach what I know. Those who do not have the force are also welcome. Meditation is an easy thing to learn, and learning how to shield one's mind is something that may be useful. I will be staying in Tower 2, at room 110.

I have to say, someone must have seen my drawings back in the war to give me this for the advent calendar.

So, that was weird. Well, weird is sort of what I do. So, I guess that's kinda stating the obvious. Still, what I mean is. WE'RE IN FREAKING ATLANTIS!!!!

I mean, yeah. That's cool.

Anyway, I should introduce myself right? Right. So, hey! I'm Xander. Yeah. I know. There was the whole TV Show about my best friend. And, I'm the dorky friend. Etc etc. I know all about that. Done the whole alternate universe hopping thing before. But, the whole choice thing is a new one on me.

Anyway, like I was saying. I'm Xander. And, I'll be working as a Foreman. So, anyone working in construction. I guess I'll see you around.

And I know it's like...a month away, but I'm a bit anxious about going to school again. I haven't been to school in a long time. I don't know if I remember how to do it. I'm still getting used to this technology thing.

So probably around New Year's Eve the kittens should be able to leave their mom and go off to new owners. I have ten kittens and after some fierce negotiations with my girlfriend, I now know almost how many have been claimed:

They should be all claimed now, and if not, I'll make another post later.

The party was absolutely smashing. I've never been to a proper luau! In December, no less. I can't say how the beach was summer when winter was all around us, but I'm not at all complaining. It felt just like Los Angeles, just before I was brought here. However, I suspect there was something funny about the drinks, again.
