Quicklog: Meredith & Cris

Who: Meredith & Cris
What: A chance encounter in Marvel
Where: NYC
When: Fuzzy timelines.
Warnings/Rating: TBD

Of course, Meredith had her misgivings about finding another place to stay while Louis was visiting Neil, but she could also see the positives as well. Neil could have some time with his brother and she could have some time to herself to hopefully spend in a healthy way. Upon the recommendation of the therapist she was seeing, she had been attending yoga every morning at 5am, even if it was horribly early. There was, however, that nagging thought about the aerial yoga that had been mentioned on her last post to the journals.

That sort of class wasn't easy to find in Vegas, though. Maybe it was the year they existed in there, or maybe she was just looking in the wrong place. Whatever the reason, Meredith decided to turn to the Marvel door to satisfy that bit of curiosity. Just a couple of brief searches once she was through the door netted her a class that afternoon, and even if she was in an unfamiliar city all on her own, she was still excited. Eager, even. Maybe, if this went well, she'd reach out to the girl that had brought it up, see if she wanted to join her next time. She mentioned she was in Marvel too, right?

She was dressed casually as she strode down the street, a bag slung over one shoulder containing the few things she thought were proper for class. Red hair was done up in a messy bun, black leggings and a black tank, form-fitting and comfortable. She had a looser green shirt thrown over it all in an attempt to be modest, even though there were plenty of other women walking around with far more on display. She just felt more comfortable this way, though she'd be lying if she said she wasn't a little envious of the confidence it took to dress without worry.

There were still a couple of blocks to go to the studio, if her directions were correct, but she had time to spare. A dig in her pocket for her wallet and Meredith altered course to one of the stands that littered the streets, cold drinks and today's news.
