That the hotel [...] was the cause. I'm working with the FBI, but there's no way to explain it to them. We may be expected to participate in or promote a manhunt.

Just throwing this out here that we still have space at the mansion if anyone needs to crash. We also have our own gym and simulation room for training. Also I haven't had a good match on the pool table in a long time. In the past people sort of come and go as they like if they don't need a permanent space. If you'd like to see it for yourself just out of curiosity let me know.

Also, Carol suggested we have a poker game. Anyone into poker?

(ooc: Nat has stripped off all SHIELD tracking things from the motorcycle she was using during the infection and is using it. Stark Tower security will show her leaving dressed in her SHIELD catsuit, heavily armed, and with nothing else. She will be getting burner phones and will hack back into the journal network to watch it, but won't be traceable.)

What can I do to help with the clean up in the aftermath of the infection?

[James knew deep down he was getting worse with whatever had happened. He knew that Ultron wasn't really there in the room with him. And closing his eyes had helped but then he kept hearing Ultron. He did his best to block the words out but it didn't help much. And then he could hear his father's voice. His eyes snapped opened and he stared up at Steve, listening in shock as his father began tearing down every achievement he had ever done. Ultron. Clearing Ultra City of robots and those loyal to Ultron ("Why did it take you so long? We would have had it cleared in days!"). His bickering with Francis and the others on certains things that couldn't be agreed upon. Finally he had screamed at his "father" to shut up and lunged at him only to pass through the hallucination. When he turned around he caught sight of someone in a biohazard suit with a syringe. Without thinking he charged, striking the person hard. More people came in and he tried to fight them but the numbers were not in his favor. He was held down and felt the prick of a needle along with Ultron's voice taunting him.]

There now. Don't worry, you'll wake up. I want to see how you react when we experiment on you. Perhaps you'll scream as your father did when I sliced him open to see what made him so special to people.

[James' struggles grew weaker and weaker. He fought to keep his eyes open but failed, mumbling as the sedative took effect] Kill...you...

Anybody who is seeing anything strange, needs to come to the Tower right now for quarantine. This is non-negotiable. The world is not ending. You're infected with something from Crane. It's not real. I need you to fight it. You are endangering more people by reacting to it than you'll be helping fighting whatever it is you think you're seeing.

If you're not seeing anything strange as of yet, I need you.

The door is being sealed from the outside, so there's no leaving, no spreading this thing. We have to get it contained. Dr. Banner and Ms. Stacy are working on that as we speak. But we need those infected away from the population, and we need them to get samples from. Understood?

UPDATE: S.H.I.E.L.D. has set up quarantine locations around the boroughs. Send infected citizens to them. Tony has his suits out on defense.

Didn't intend for the seizures. Unexpected side-effect. I much prefer the one where it's quiet and calm and no one knows there's something wrong.

We might well have a man, named Crane, alias Scarecrow, from the DC door here with us. He's a sadist who deals in fear. He drugs people for fun, to terrify them. According to a credible source, "[w]hen he was testing things in your world, he doused a school with something to make the children fearless, just to see what they'd do. Then, he used a stronger version on us. He likes fear gas best. He has a particular fondness for straightjackets and cells and needles, all in conjunction, preferably."

I will attach a visual when I get one. [Pictures provided by Dick, five in total, of one Dr. Crane, attached.] I am in contact with people from the DC door about his presence here.

Note: We are not apprehending this man, as there's no evidence of a crime that is not circumstantial as of yet. But we are to be on the lookout for him. With the strangeness on the news today, I think that's the least we can do.

He has a few abandoned labs around, locations that should be watched or patrolled, just in case, as he's currently in the wind. There's is one laboratory each, in: Harlem, Chinatown, Bronx, and Midtown. Anyone up for it?
