[On Valentine's Day, things change in Gotham, and the changes will remain in effect for two weeks, until February 28th, when the wishes of Holly Robinson, Jim Gordon, Hal Jordan and Bruce Wayne fade.
When Bruce wakes up - just him - the city he lives in has changed. First off? Bruce Wayne is the mayor and has been for a number of years - re-election campaigns are being planned already. The city, the GCPD and the administration, they're good and they're clean. Good men with morals and a compass are the boys in blue and the mob? They never existed. And for the rest of Gotham? It's been that way for years. Unfortunately? Without the mobs, the traditional villains of Gotham are back. And without some form of mob-run camaraderie the fissures between the rich and the poor in Gotham are wider than ever. GCPD has to clean up all kinds of rich-fueled fun sprees, the aftermath of drugs and high-speed car races on Gotham's roads and of course, the sex trade is alive and well, and doesn't have a tightly-run mob network to keep women safe.
Everyone unaffected by magic and by doors, they think this is how Gotham is, how it has always been. Everyone else is aware something is not right. And Gotham is very good at staying how it is. It's not going to last long.
And there's something else.
Just like Bruce, the other citizens of Gotham are experiencing new things
too. Heightened levels of debauchery and the urge to indulge. Nothing non-consensual, and they can certainly control themselves, but there's a definite lowering of sexual inhibitions in the air, a desire to throw sexual caution to the wind. There's also a very, very compelling desire to declare affection and love for others, even where the was reluctance in the past. And it's coupled with a need to spend time with those people, often to the exclusion of all else.]
